Limnor acts as a platform to host software components, called Performers.
Developers can use certain computer languages to make new Performers for
the Limnor
platform. There are no limitations to what kinds of Performers can be made and
added to the Limnor platform.
-
Each Performer can have properties, events and methods.
-
Users create computer applications by
playing with Performers, setting/linking their properties, making
actions/action lists using Performer methods, and assigning actions to
events - all without using computer languages.
-
Users program by specifying which Performer
at what time/event does what job.
-
The platform provides a graphic user interface for setting Performers
attributes, picking jobs for Performers, and selecting events for the jobs
to be carried out.
-
The platform makes distribution
packages for the developer (you) when the application development is
finished. The platform also supports upgrade distribution
(delta distribution) of your applications, which only distributes
new and modified content. New and modified content are automatically identified by Limnor.
